Six Construct was awarded with the CSR Label on 24 September 2017, in recognition of its outstanding efforts and commitment towards CSR & sustainability practices in the region. Six Construct was one of the few companies who received the label for the fifth consecutive time, since 2013.
Mr. Ahmad Ataya and Mr. Gurubasu S K were present to receive the award for Six Construct. The CSR Label was awarded post verifications of consistent improvements in the areas of CSR and the CSR activities, in May 2017.
Since its launch, the Dubai Chamber CSR Label has provided a diagnostic model, as well as a learning and development tool that help companies of all sizes, sectors and operations define and improve their corporate sustainability and responsibility strategies, policies and management practices. The label covers the main impact areas of sustainability and CSR: environment, community, workplace, marketplace, and it provides recognition for companies that implement outstanding CSR and sustainability practices.
The Dubai Chamber CSR Label framework has been developed by the Dubai Chamber to bring together international best practices, standards and guidelines in CSR such as ISO 26000, ISO 14001, the Global Compact Principles and the local context of the UAE and the GCC together.
